The national Community Activities Program winners were announced during the awards presentation at the American Mensa Annual Gathering in New Orleans.

Borderline Mensa
Relay for Life
Borderline Mensa sponsored a team for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The group raised $576 for the American Cancer Society through special fund-raising Happy Hours. They also set up a campsite during the Relay for Life to display Mensa’s name and invite the community to visit with members.

Local Scholarship
Borderline Mensa granted two $300 scholarships to local students.

Junior Engineer Day
More than 100 children participated in Central Florida Mensa's Junior Engineer Day. Mensa members and local engineers led hands-on activities for the children and gave out goody bags filled with donations from local businesses. Proceeds from the event were used for the local group's scholarship fund.
