Volunteer Work I'm Most Proud Of: The volunteer work I am most proud of is my work with Bright Young Dyslexics (BYD). Founding BYD at such a young age (10 yrs. old) and for such a personal reason, has only given me a stronger connection and purpose to give back to and support other young dyslexics. Understanding first-hand the struggles and difficulties dyslexics face in school systems and knowing that I could speak up and bring awareness to these issues, sitting back and watching from a distance wasn’t an option for me. I owe it to the younger version of myself and the millions of other dyslexic students to continue to speak out about dyslexia and create the awareness they deserve.
What I'm Doing Now: I recently graduated from University of Miami this May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, majoring in Creative Advertising and minoring in Entrepreneurship. I currently work for a digital marketing agency, The Collective Source, as a Social Media Content Creator and Strategist.
How The Mensa Honor Society Helped Me Achieve My Goals: The Mensa Honor Society helped me achieve my goals by providing a supportive community of intellectually driven individuals who were an inspiration to me. It empowered me to push my own boundaries of what I thought possible for myself, making my goals a little higher and my dreams a little more in the clouds.
