2019 Mensa Select^® Winners Announced

Strategy, family games stand apart in 2019 competition

WADSWORTH, OHIO, April 14, 2019 — After nearly two days of nonstop gameplay, our Mensa Mind Games judges have selected the following titles to receive the official Mensa Select seal:

• Architects of the West Kingdom, Renegade Game Studios
• Gizmos, CMON INC
• Gunkimono, Renegade Game Studios
• Planet, Blue Orange Games
• Victorian Masterminds, CMON INC

These titles have been awarded the official Mensa Select distinction because each is original in concept, challenging, and well designed. Additionally, these games provide a high value for the price, are easy to comprehend and play, and prove highly entertaining.

Mind Games is a 40-plus-hour board-game-judging marathon, during which the year’s five best new-to-market games are chosen and awarded the coveted Mensa Select seal — a stamp of approval from 300 of the country’s most avid board-gaming fans.

Entries for Mind Games 2020 will start being accepted in late fall of 2019. Entries for 2020 consideration will have achieved national distribution between June 1, 2018, and June 1, 2020.
