American Mensa, the high IQ society, is proud to announce William Rock of North Texas Mensa as the 2011 recipient of the Gifted Children Coordinator Award. The Gifted Children Coordinator Award is given for superior service as a local Gifted Youth Coordinator, which contributes to the growth of programs or services for gifted children and/or growth for Young Mensan membership.

The Mensa Education & Research Foundation is proud to announce Mensa member Dr. Raymond G. Taylor of Pemaquid, Maine is the winner of the 2011 Intellectual Benefits Award. The Intellectual Benefits award pays tribute to one member of American Mensa whose intellectual abilities resulted in a substantial benefit to society.
- 3. Lesson and activity plans
The Mensa Foundation underwrites several programs in support of gifted youth. Among these hands-on programs are a series of educational activities to be implemented at the local level and a group of lesson plans designed for homeschooling or classroom use.
- 4. Foundation trustees
The property and business of the Mensa Foundation is managed by the Board of Trustees, which supervises the disposition and solicitation of donations to the Foundation.
